Caro wuchs in den USA auf und lebt jetzt mit ihrer Familie, vielen Büchern und einem Zitronenbaum im Taunus. Sie spricht gerne mit Tieren und würde gerne ihre Antworten verstehen, liebt Croissants und frische Luft. Caro mischt ihre Socken, um noch mehr Farben in den Tag zu bringen. Ihre Illustrationen spiegeln das wider, was sie sehen möchte: alles was bunt, verspielt und verzaubert ist.
Dafür illustriert sie mit Aquarell und Tinte. Ihr Stil betont gerade Linien und einfache Formen und ist voller Details. Damit eignet sich ihr Stil besonders für Bilderbücher und Graphic Novels. 
Caro ist eine autodidaktische Künstlerin. Während ihrer Promotion in Sozialanthropologie hat sie sehr viel Zeit damit verbracht, eine gute Zuhörerin zu werden und interessante Geschichten zu sammeln. Jetzt erzählt sie mit ihren Illustrationen diese und immer neue Geschichten – vielleicht auch bald Ihre!
